Senior VoIP Engineer (Argentina)

As a Senior VoIP Engineer at BrainHi, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Voice-over-IP (VoIP) solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our VoIP systems. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and Enhance VoIP Solutions: Architect and refine robust, scalable VoIP infrastructure.
• Design Advanced VoIP Systems: Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive VoIP systems.
• Optimize System Performance: Proactively monitor and optimize VoIP systems for optimal voice quality.
• Integrate Communication Platforms: Collaborate to seamlessly integrate VoIP systems with other platforms.
• System Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance.
• Innovative Technology Adoption: Identify and integrate cutting-edge VoIP solutions.
• Security and Compliance: Design and implement security measures for voice communications.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and mentoring to technical teams.
• Strategic Recommendations: Analyze trends to recommend improvements to VoIP infrastructure.
• Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of VoIP and networking protocols.
• Monitoring Tools Proficiency: Utilize advanced tools to ensure stability of voice services.
• Dynamic Environment Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience or more in engineering roles
• Experience in VoIP infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Proven expertise in SIP trunking, PBX systems, call routing, and quality of service optimizations.
• Strong experience with configuring and maintaining VoIP equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of VoIP protocols and technologies, including SIP, RTP, and various codecs.
• Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, and experience with network security implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to use VoIP monitoring and management tools to diagnose and resolve complex issues proactively.
• Experience in integrating VoIP systems with other communication and business applications.
• Knowledge of current industry trends, standards, and best practices in VoIP technology.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide leadership in project settings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle high-pressure situations and critical system issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document processes clearly and interact with team members effectively.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies outside of standard working hours.
