Technology Business Analyst

Technology Business Analyst will be responsible to ensure all Technology operational activities align with executive leadership strategy and will work to provide visibility/transparency into our current resource allocations and software capitalization process to increase our overall efficiencies from a financial perspective. As a Technology Business Analyst, you will work with leaders within multiple departments to translate Technology capitalization strategy into actionable plans utilizing data. The Technology Operations team leverages in-depth analysis to provide self-serve reporting, allowing leadership to make strategy related decisions or obtain financial statuses on current initiatives based on data. This role supports the Teladoc Technology organization. Where you can make an impact

• Be responsible for the management, collection and delivery of resource allocations leveraged for software capitalization reporting.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Audit, Finance & Accounting and other reporting teams to drive strategic systems initiatives and continuous improvement on the capitalization process.
• Maintain, optimize and innovate on processes and procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience for the software capitalization reporting function.
• Organizing & Planning: understanding who our strategic partners are and ensuring we are driving value from our Technology operational spend.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage resource allocation tools for the Technology organization, including functionality, processes and optimizations leveraged for software capitalization deliverables.
• Drive resource allocation internal change programs, focused on driving efficiency and effectiveness with users and stakeholders.
• Assist and work to enhance the central reporting process for Teladoc’s Technology organization Capitalization process, and to track and report on outcomes to Technology leadership.
• Leverage data analytics to identify and prioritize business challenges, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze data to explain drivers of performance and communicate insights to Technology leadership and support the development of financial capitalization goals.
• Gather Requirements: Lead teams in the identification of business requirements and processes needed to ensure we are consistently in line with our current strategies.
• Reporting: Continually monitor, track and report on status and potential risks, utilizing tools like Microsoft Powers apps and visualization tools like Power BI

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or any IT related subject. Experience with Internally Developed Software (IDS) Capitalization processes a plus.
• Experience working in a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulated business environment.
• Project Management experience.
• 1.5+ years experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Ability to do follow up, track status and keep a detailed record of changes is required.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, outlook, teams)
• Data Analysis, management, and visualization
• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Business and process improvement
• Develop action plans.
• Experience managing cost, analyzing vendor agreements.
• Experience using Airtable
• Experience using, implementing, and optimizing time tracking tools.
• Experience with Atlassian work productivity tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Enthusiasm for driving “i”nnovations!
• Strong English Skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Power apps is preferred.
• Experience with Data visualization tools like Power BI is preferred.
• 6 Sigma certified a plus
