MIDDLE FULL STACK ENGINEER (NODE, REACT, GIS)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Middle Full Stack Engineer (Node.js, React, and GIS) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a leading diversified aviation services provider with a presence in 4 continents across the globe. Founded in 1951, they provide engineering, asset management safety, and technology solutions to the commercial and business aviation communities. Their services typically include aerial surveys, mapping, and data analytics for various industries such as agriculture, construction, infrastructure inspection, environmental monitoring, and more. By utilizing drones equipped with advanced sensors and cameras, the solution offers high-resolution imagery, 3D modeling, and actionable insights to help clients make informed decisions and streamline their operations. Additionally, they may provide software platforms or tools for data analysis and visualization, allowing clients to efficiently analyze and utilize the data collected from drone surveys. They play a crucial role in revolutionizing industries by leveraging drone technology to gather valuable aerial data and provide innovative solutions to their customers challenges. The engines are Esri, Mapbox, and Cesium. They use the following file formats: .tiff, .kml, .las, .laz, .gdb, and .shp. Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience with Esri/GIS, Node.js, React JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

Responsibilities:

• Design high-quality software design and architecture.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Manage end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Design and develop the proprietary aerial data processing software platform using JavaScript/Node.js, map visualization client technology Mapbox in a PostgreSQL/Post GIS database environment with large image files.
• Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies.
• Work with the customer support team to troubleshoot customers’ problems.
• Analyze the root cause of the customer support tickets and respond within the time frame defined in the service level agreements (SLAs).

Will be a plus:

• Any experience with 3D visualization, GIS data handling, and transferring.
• Knowledge of AWS (EC2, ECR, RDS).
• Knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with MongoDB.
