What you will do:

• Provide advanced strategic knowledge and technical oversight to identification and containment of incidents
• Delegate response tasks effectively and prioritize response actions across multiple incidents
• Create detailed timelines and other supporting documentation
• Work with partner teams to provide technical analysis of cases to assist in the development of mitigation and detection techniques
• Turn technical analysis into high-quality incident after-action reports
• Understand the Business Lines and IT organization
  
• Develop a solid understanding of the application and infrastructure components supporting the business units
• Design and implement new data structures
  
• Constantly monitor database performance, identifying the risks and adopting scalable solutions
• Anticipate future storage capacity and database performance needs

What We Look for in the Ideal Candidate:

• Vast experience as DBA (On-prem – Cloud) in MS-SQL server and PostgreSQL environments
• Experience migrating large production databases as well as orchestrating the implementation of new and improved designs
• Design the databases together with the Software Engineering teams, defining the structure of tables, indexes, relationships and constraints
• Execute investigative work on DBs to perform gap analysis and identify performance improvements
• Proven working experience as a Cloud Database Administrator (AWS / Azure)
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL – DRP
  
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
• Problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
• Experience with ticketing systems - Jira Service Management / SW / Confluence
• Upper Intermediate or above English level

It Is a Plus If You Have

• Working experience in an Agile organization
• Knowledge in ITIL methodologies
• Experience writing code in Java
• Familiarity with the design, construction, and delivery of microservices
